Lymph Drainage TherapyEye floaters (scotomas) may be improved with a Lymph Cleanse Massage, also known as Lymph Drainage Therapy (LDT). This very gentle massage technique cleanses debris in your sinus by opening blocked pathways and directing the debris away from the congestion. This cleanses the eyes from the floating debris, reduces pressure, lowers stress headaches, brings down inflammation, helps breathing, and calms nerves.

There are many opthamology conditions helped by LDT.  Dr.Bruno Chikly’s Lymphatic Pathways Anatomical Integrity; A Hidden Key to Health and Longevity pg 46 Upledger Institute Publishing has the following list of benefits:

–  Scotomas (eye floaters)
–  Chronic glaucoma
–  Cataracts
–  Chronic eyelid edema
–  Retinal detachment
–  Macular degeneration
–  Retinitis pigmentosa

Did you know that if you catch some of these conditions at an early stage, they can improve with natural treatments of lymph massage for the sinuses? Lymph Drainage Therapy is not part of the basic training to become a massage therapist. It is labeled a “Specialty Massage” because it requires a more expensive education to specialize in this field. Usually the cost to receive this treatment is above the average massage price.

Results from years of build up may take a few to several sessions. Typically, you feel some improvement after the first session. It is a very calming service. I like to compare it to mercy and forgiveness – gentle and powerful! Most people feel extremely tired the day following the session as the body needs rest to process the healing. This service is available at Calm Relief in Maitland, FL. For more information, see  the home page tab for the Calm Relief website and scroll toward the bottom.  Eye floaters may be an indication that the whole lymph system may need to be cleansed. Diet and lack of exercise may influence congestion. There are many factors that influence your wellness. LDT may cause improvement, but is only one piece of your wellness puzzle.

Before and During a Massage

Finish eating 90 minutes before a massage or bodywork. During a massage with lotion, all clients are draped conservatively. Payment expressing your satisfaction is made after your first received service. No refunds are provided on received services.

After a Massage

The time it takes to disrobe and get dressed is counted as part of your session length, which is standard in massage therapy.

Drink at least two cups of water following a massage. The wonderful feeling after a massage will last longer. Water is needed to cleanse stirred debris.

Should I come with a sore throat or fever?

NO. Sickness is contagious, especially in the first three days.  Massage makes sickness feel worse. Calm Relief now uses a NO-Touch Thermometer before the session. No massage will take place when a fever is present. If you are not sure you should come, call to discuss it. 407-756-4947 Thank you for understanding and providing notice.

Tipping

CASH tipping is customary for excellent service. Credit card companies charge a merchant fee. The full amount is received when it’s cash. Though not required, it is greatly appreciated!  However, Calm Relief never wants added financial stress, and would rather have your business.
