MediCupping™ Cocooning

MediCupping Cocooning is The Ultimate stress relief and whole-body detoxification or cleansing.

Relaxing on the massage table after care. This experience soothes the body, refreshes the mind, and relaxes the soul!

Plan to chill out as a spa relaxation day.

After Gayle’s. session, she shared,I feel like a noodle!”

90 minutes session

Your escape begins with a natural aroma essential oil blend, infused in spa coconut oil.  Glass cups are skillfully guided in continuous motion. This gentle vacuum lifts  and vibrates your skin to sweep away tension from your muscles. It encourages circulation and energy to refresh and rejuvenate you. The specific direction the cups are guided, encourages lymph cleansing a.k.a. detoxification. (No worries. Your body eliminates a volume of debris later during natural bathroom elimination. Also, round suction marks do NOT appear later on your skin.)

The gentle hum of the MediCupping machine lulls your mind into stillness. Wrapped in a toasty cocoon, your body absorbs deep hydration for essential oil effectiveness.

Vacuum therapy

Everything is greater than you usually experience. You feel your body letting go of stress as the touch of hands guide or glide the cup.

During that 20-minute toasty cocoon, you continue to receive a soothing face and scalp massage.  And yes, it’s OK to drift into sleep.

Take a few minutes to get off the massage table. You just about melt to the floor in peaceful relaxation.

You can see a demonstration video of the gliding cups during MediCupping on the bottom of the home page of this website.

Before and after this cleansing session

Prepare: The day before through the morning after your appointment, remember to eat healthier (skip dessert and red meat), drink lots of water at least 8-10 cups each day. As with any therapy, finish eating 90 minutes before your appointment.

(*) (S) After the session plan:  Most people experience a later volume of elimination in the bathroom that evening and or the next morning. You won’t feel like doing anything but enjoying this peaceful rest.  Its best to plan a “staycation”. Drink water. Have some hot herbal tea. Relax. Read a book, Make it a day for you. You deserve it! Before and During a Massage

Appointment preparation and policies: Finish eating 90 minutes before a session. During a massage with lotion, all clients are draped conservatively. Payment expressing your satisfaction is made after your first received service. No refunds are provided on received services. Calm Relief wants you to leave very pleased. If for any reason you are not satisfied, immediately discuss how we can adjust for your comfort. We want  to serve you with the care you need.

Appointment changes Short Notice: Provide at least 24 hours advanced notice to change an appointment reserved exclusively for you. Failure to make sure the practitioner is notified, carries a $50 short notice/no show fee.   If the short notice fee is paid twice, future appointments will require advanced nonrefundable payment in full in order to reserve an appointment.

Tardiness: If you are late, the session will end at the scheduled ending time. There is a 15 minute courtesy waiting time before the appointment is considered a no-show. Thank you for honoring the practitioner’s time and business policy.

After a Massage

The time it takes to disrobe and get dressed is counted as part of your session length, which is standard in massage therapy.

Drink at least two cups of water following a massage. The wonderful feeling after a massage will last longer. Water is needed to cleanse stirred debris.

Should I come with a sore throat or fever?

NO. Sickness is contagious, especially in the first three days.  Massage makes sickness feel worse.  No massage will take place when a fever is present. If you are not sure you should come, call to discuss it. 407-756-4947 Thank you for understanding and providing notice.

Tipping

CASH tipping is customary for excellent service and greatly appreciated! Credit card companies charge a merchant fee. The full amount is received when it’s cash.  However, Calm Relief never wants  to add financial stress, and would rather have your business if tipping is uncomfortable.
